After gathering all of the necessary documents mentioned earlier, you may proceed to fill out the online application form for GEPCO by following the steps outlined below:
Step 2: On the left side of the webpage, click the button “Apply.”
Step 3: Upon clicking the “Apply” button, a form will appear on the left-hand side of the page. The form will request that you enter your neighbor’s consumer reference number. Once you’ve entered the reference number, the system will automatically retrieve information such as your neighbor’s name, address, GEPCO as the distribution company, and the corresponding sub-division name and code.
Step 4: At this stage, you must select the type of load category you need. The category you choose will depend on your required consumption and load. For instance, if you want a connection for household purposes, your load requirement will not be higher than 5KW. In that case, you can select the first option, which allows loads up to 15KW.
Step 5: After filling in the initial information, the next section of the GEPCO Online application is the new connection form will appear below in the same window. In this section, you must select the connection type from a list of options. For instance, if you need a connection for residential purposes, you should choose the “Domestic” connection type. Similarly, if you need a connection for a tubewell, you can select the appropriate connection type.
Step 6: Scroll down the page to fill in your personal details on the online new connection form.
If you are the property owner and need the connection, select the “Landlord” option. However, if you have taken the property on rent, select the “Tenant” option.
Write your complete name in the “Applicant’s Name” field and your father’s/husband’s name in the second field.
If you are a Pakistani citizen, choose the first option in the citizenship column.
Enter your CNIC number and your current address as mentioned on your CNIC in the relevant fields.
Provide an active mobile number in the “Mobile No. 1” field. For the “Mobile No. 2” field, you can enter your father’s/husband’s number.
Step 7: The ENC form will ask you to provide the contact details of the person acquiring the connection. If you are receiving the connection yourself, you can check the “Same as above” button. This will automatically fill in your previously mentioned details in the form.
Step 8: After providing contact details, the form will ask you to confirm the details of the premises.
You should declare a meter in the form if you already have a meter installed. However, if you apply for a new connection, select “0”.
The second field will ask you to confirm the minimum load requirements. After doing your load calculations, you can select this option from the drop-down menu.
If you are applying for a connection at your address, click the “Copy” icon in the address section. If you still need to, you can write down the new address.
Step 9: In the second last stage of the application process, you must mention the details of the electrical appliances you will use at your premises. For instance, if you have a refrigerator, select “Refrigerator” in the appliance menu, enter the quantity as “1”, and specify the watts from the refrigerator’s datasheet.
Note: If you need more clarification about the wattage of any appliance, you can search for it on the internet. For example, a simple 14 cubic feet refrigerator consumes 117 Watts, or a National Iron uses 900 to 1200 Watts of power.
Add all the appliances individually with their details by clicking the “Add Row” Button.
Step 10: In the last step, you must attach the documents mentioned earlier. You can upload the scanned copy of each document by clicking on the browse button one by one.
After accepting the terms and conditions, complete a Captcha test in the Submit form.
Rewrite the letters and numbers in the Captcha box and click the “Submit” button to complete your GEPCO Online application.
Tracking of GEPCO Online Application Status
After submitting the new connection form, consumers will receive an application Tracking number, which they should note down as it will be required for tracking the GEPCO new connection application status.
To check the status of the new connection application, the consumers can use the same ENC portal and follow the process mentioned below.
Step 1: Access the ENC portal by clicking on the designated button provided below.
Step 2: In the second step, locate and click on the “Track” button on the webpage’s left side.
Step 3: A form will appear with two options. If you want to track the status of your new connection application, select the first option. However, if you’re going to track the status of a change of name, tariff, or load application, select the last option.
Step 4: If you have selected “new connection” as your application type, the next step is to choose the distribution company’s name and provide the tracking ID. As you apply for a new connection from GEPCO, select GEPCO from the list of distribution companies and enter the tracking number you received when you submitted the application online.
Upon entering the required information, you can view the status of your new connection application, which will be displayed on the screen along with the essential details of your request.
GEPCO Demand Notice
Once you submit the new connection application to GEPCO, it will be reviewed by the ENC team. They will evaluate the required materials, conductors, and the length of the service line to establish your new meter connection. Within 15 days of applying, you will receive a demand notice at your address or from the sub-division office.
If your application status on the tracking page shows “review completed” or “Pay Demand Notice Fee,” you can download your demand notice voucher from the ENC portal.
Procedure to Download and Print GEPCO Demand Notice
To print your demand notice, navigate to the ENC portal and locate the “Print DN” button on the left-hand side of the page.
Once you access the ENC portal, locate and click on the “Print DN” button available on the left-hand side of the page. This will prompt a form to appear on the right side of the page, requiring you to choose the type of application. Select the “new connection” option from the list provided.
Once you select the application type, you will be prompted to input your new connection application tracking number in the field. Once you have entered the tracking number, click the “Submit” button.
Review the demand notice form after inputting your tracking number on the ENC portal and selecting the “New Connection” option.
Download or print the demand notice form as per your preference.
Submit the fee mentioned in the demand notice before the deadline to ensure your new connection application is completed on time.

Procedure to Submit Demand Notice Online
Since the entire process is online, you can submit your demand notice fee through the ENC portal. Once you have paid the fee, make sure to keep a scanned copy of the paid demand notice, and then click on the button below:

Input your tracking number and click the submit button.
A window will appear where you can upload a scanned copy of your demand notice.
